"Aninda “Ani” Acharya, MD, is a board-certified vascular neurologist who sees patients 18 years and older. He treats various neurological conditions, including dementia, stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and migraines. Dr. Acharya specializes in helping patients who suffer from chronic migraines and offers Botox injections for treatment. Dr. Acharya is passionate about helping his patients improve their quality of life. He emphasizes the importance of effective communication, especially in understanding how a patient's neurological condition affects their daily activities, emotions and overall well-being. Dr. Acharya tailors treatment plans for each patient to meet their individual needs and goals. Dr. Acharya is originally from Kansas City, Missouri, and lives in St. Louis. When not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his family and their dogs. Dr. Acharya earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas. He completed his internship and neurology residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and a cerebrovascular disease fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
