Services oversold. We recently engaged Griffins to "re-clean" the carpets in our empty home for sale. The carpets in the home had already been steam cleaned with truck (spent about $279)-- but we wanted a fresh pass through with the "mechanised" services discussed on the company's website quoted at a cost .38 per square foot. Griffin arrived with the same equipment as the first cleaner. When we asked why we were not get the services quoted on his website he said he only does that on really dirty carpets. He didn't do anything different other than spot treatment and put down an antibacterial enzyme. There were a couple of spots in the basement he said he was able to remove; however when the carpet was dry the spots were still there. There were a couple of other spots that had a tiny spot -- however after Griffin treated those the spot is now a big yellow green spot!!! We spent $680 to Griffin to do basically the same thing we already had done with someone else.

These guys cleaned my RV a decade ago and did a great job. My realtor swears by them, plus got me a free room. My home was large, and we didn't have the carpets cleaned very much. It seemed an uphill battle with kids. When my kids left we had the carpets cleaned for sale. They now look better than they did 10 years ago. They performed Mechanized Steam Cleaning in some very worn areas, and that part was almost unbelievable. I think it helped the sale proceed. The owner also followed up with a follow up call to make sure it looked good. They live up to their name alright.
