Dr. Shakoor specializes in diseases of the retina and vitreous as well as the diagnosis and treatment of uveitis and other infectious and inflammatory diseases of the eye. His primary clinical and surgical interests include retinal detachments, diabetic retinopathy, epiretinal membranes and macular holes, and macular and retinal degeneration.
