Dana Dean Optometry, the center for Vision Development is where we change lives. We are solely a Vision Therapy Practice. It is here that children and adults are evaluated for visually related learning issues. When the binocular system, focusing system and the convergence system are not working together, learning can be very fatiguing, very challenging and very disheartening. However, once a visual difficulty has been diagnosed, visual therapy is the remediation. It is a wonderful process of training the body, the brain and the eyes to work together for a more coordinated system, ready for reading and writing and learning efficiently. Anyone can learn information, but the efficiency of how we learn can be a stumbling block for many, not allowing them to reach their true potential. It is at Dana Dean Optometry where the eyes brain and body become transformed, become one. We offer monthly in office complimentary Developmental vision screenings to help parents understand how we evaluate the visual system. It also gives you a chance to come and meet myself and my staff. We also evaluate residual primitive reflexes as well as perceptual interpretation of teh visual system, ie how does a child transform information in their brain and how do they put it down on paper. My office has highly trained, wonderful staff who are fun and love to work with both children and adults. Come and meet the team who are unique in every way of delivering exceptioanl care.
