wonderful Chinese food. Sometimes the line goes out the door, but you rarely have to wait all that long, and when you do it's worth the wait. Don't be tempted to avoid the crowd by going to one of the neighboring "empty" Chinese restaurants. Everyone is at Silver House for a reason.

Some of the BEST cantonese food outside of Hong Kong, very authentic, very fresh, although it does cater to mostly Chinese. Service no better or worse than other Chinese restaurants. Recommend it highly if one appreciates live fresh sea food, however do not get suckered into expensive live fish.(catfish is always excellent and reasonable). The razor clams are .

A friend of ours told my husband and I that this was a Chinese food restaurant that we just HAD to try. Well the food was okay, not the best as promised. But the service was just terrible! The worst we've ever been treated in a restaurant. It was hard to even get waited on, or seated actually! Our food didn't come for a very long time- people who came after us were served first. We felt as if we weren't' t really welcome. Here's the icing on the cake: You had to pay the bill up at the cashier, and the woman working at the counter looks back out our table and snaps at us" No tip on table! NO tip today huh? " I wasn't embarrassed because I always leave great tips when they're deserved. But we still laugh about being scolded for not leaving a tip .....for the worst service we've ever had.
