I adopted both my doggies from Chittenden humane. As will all rescue animals my dogs needed time to adjust and get over issues (accidents etc.) Give a rescue animal a try instead of a "purebred". They make the most wonderful pets. The people at Chittenden humane are so wonderful; they make the process easy and fun. You can also foster a pet before you agree to adopt it for good which is a great way to see if you "click" with you new pet! A+ to everyone there.

My daughter and I love going here! The place is always clean, cheary, and bright. The staff are wonderful as well. The animals are so cute and well taken care of!
