I absolutely love going to the Fresh Market. You can find things there that aren't at other places. The prices aren't that different from Publix. I love it love it love it! You can even get the most beautiful fresh flowers and enjoy a sample of coffee while you shop. It is a treat to go!

I was in the check out line and thus far my experience had been just fine. I am a white women--and I was in a checkout line where the employees name is Sharon--a white women. I let the lady behind me go ahead of me because she said that she was in a hurry and she only had a few items. The conversation was between her and I. I let her go ahead with no problem. When it was my turn the cashier said that she was sorry to me for the way the previous customer had asked if she could go ahead and that now I had had to wait a little longer. I said that it was no problem . The cashier went on to say that people like that feel like "we" owe them something. I asked her what she meant....she said the "they" feel like the color of thier skin entitles them to something that we owe them. I did not say another word at that time..until she finished with me and said come back and see us. I told her "Not at this store".I'll give her her opinion-not at work though..not to share with customers
