These guys were referred to me by a retail shoe outlet and I think they do a great job and are priced reasonably. When I drop my shoes off, they ASK me when I want to pick them up, not TELL me when they'll be ready. They just earned their 5th star today as they said they'd stay a little late for me to come drop my shoes off as they close at 6, but I work until 6. Great customer service. :)

Vince, the delightful owner, along with his very able staff have 'maintained my shoes, expensive and cheap, through thick and thin for decades! The materials of the shoe wear out before their refurbishments do! I am always amazed at the steady stream of cowboys/ranchers that keep their boots for many years based on the fine work of El Con Cobblers! Those upset over an $8 shoe repair need to go elsewhere. I am not sure what these people want.........the work is the best, and he has NEVER overcharged me whether it be a suitcase repair, belt, purse repair, Ferragamo remake, etc.. I cannot say enough. He answers the phone quickly when not serving the public, but don't expect 'an estimate' without him seeing the item first. You don't deserve his work!" if you see this as a $2 sum game! .For those seeking shoe/lift adjustments, I have gone through this with my 86 yr. old mother .Iit is NOT an exact science. Go argue with Hanger Prosthetics.

They don't always get their measurements correct. You pay when you pick up your item, and then they expect you to pay again when they have to correct their own mistakes.
