I just got off the phone with a very rude employee who could not find my shoes and indicated to me that since the repairs were not slated to be done until 2:00 PM she did not have to find them. They have been there for 2 weeks. If I get them back today I will never do business with Gwenneth's again. I have done business with them in the past and their employees never acted in this fashion. I cannot recommend them.

This is the worst business I have ever interacted with. The owner repeatedly lied about when the work would be completed. The employees were totally embarrased about the owner's lying and misrepresentation. Not worthy of even one star!

Provided by YP.comFour years ago, when visiting my folks from NM, I needed the upper leather on my orthotics replaced. Since I needed my orthotics for walking, Gwenneth's, not only replaced the upper leather but also the underlying pad while I waited. The nature of leather is that after awhile it needs to be replaced especially when used in sandals (bare feet and leather eventually causes an odor). I went to 3 different repair shops in Albuquerque (where I live) but none of them had the quality of leather Gwenneth's did and none of them were willing to replace the pad or replace the leather (even with poor quality leather) while I waited. They wouldn't even consider making an appointment for when I could come in to have the repair done while I waited. So, I waited until I visited my folks again the week before Thanksgiving. I went back to Gwenneth's and at first they said they could get the job done 4 days after I dropped the orthotics off but when I explained my dilemma they did the job that afternoon. Not only were they friendly but their compassion for me with my semi-lame ankle, (which is why I need orthotics in the first place), was so refreshing. In a society where good customer service and quality work is getting more difficult to come by, I highly recommend Gwenneth's Shoe Repair as a place where you can find both. I will keep bringing them my business as long as my folks live here in Tucson. Maybe even longer!
