This was the first inspection we've had and Donn was a great and knowledgeable guide throughout the whole process. He is very detail-oriented and gave us tips on things that really aren't part of the inspection or necessary to inspect, such as spots and methods for extra insulation, outlet advice etc.

He definitely saved us big time by catching small roots that were visible in the drain tile, as well as the slow draining laundry tub which could have sewer line implications. After having more professionals out, it turns out all the drain tiles need to be replaced and there were problems in the sewer line as well. This saved us $10,000+.

I will have Donn inspect any house I buy going forward.

Donn did a great job inspecting our home and pointed out several issues that we didn't catch right away. He noticed rust stains inside the furnace so we had that ammended to be checked by a licensed HVAC and sure enough a cracked heat exchanger.

Had our house inspected and he did a great job, as confirmed by the 4 subsequent specialty inspectors that we scheduled to follow up. We ended up buying the house, but with eyes wide open to the issues that we are going to face while owning it. Donn kept me up to speed with his findings as he went because I kept pestering him, but he didn't seem to mind. We were a little scatterbrained ourselves, so we appreciated his flexibility. Electronic payment is also nice for budgeting purposes (since you are never so poor as when you buy a house).

We heard of anderson hone inspection through a co-worker and we decided to use them as well. We were first time buyers and didn’t know much of anything when it came to what to look for when buying a house. Donn taught us so much from in the few hours he was there. What to look for the next time we buy a house and samll things that should be done to the current house if we were to buy it. The home inspection took about 3 hours. The first hour consisted as an educational question and answer period, followed by the inspection. I felt very comfortable with our Inspector Mike, who by the way is a Milwaukee firefighter, with his experience and knowledge as an inspector.
