The most fun you can have in Waukesha County and beyond

Great magic, joke and novelty shop. I have been going there for years.

The best magic shop in the Milwaukee/ Waukesha County area. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. You must visit this shop before you shop for magic elsewhere, you can see the difference between a shop that sells tricks and one that sells performance skills (with the tricks).

I went to Big Guys Magic in Pewaukee first. It was small, the owner was pushy and never got out of the couch he was sitting in. There were no demonstrations and I doubt the owner knew how to do any of the stuff. We left this place and went to the Joke shop in Waukesha.



Big Guys magic was the exact opposite is what I got from the Joke shop. The guy at the Jokeshop was was friendly, greeted us and asked if we had any questions. He then he did some magic for us. Not only stuff to impress us, but also the things we were looking to purchase. He even talked us out of buying magic that he did not think would work for us and showed us something cheaper that was better. Here it is not about the money but making sure our performance would be the best! Awesome place!

Even though this was my first magic shop experience, I have never been to another store like it. There are a couple aspects that make this store amazing:



First, the customer service is outstanding! Never have I ever walked into a store that offers a smile so freely. Jeff turns your shopping day into a shopping experience! One that you will never forget.



Second, the selection will always have you coming back discovering new things. Each occasion I get the opportunity to visit, I will find something new. Not because I didn't spend enough time in there previously, but because the store keeps a constant flow of new products to pique your curiosity with.



Third, the knowledge. I already talked about Jeff's one-of-a-kind service, but to find a man with performance knowledge this expansive is rare. Not only that, but the way he is willing to teach you these secrets is so worthwhile, you can't help but buy something out of gratitude. Of course, you must have a respectful and willing-to-be-molded mind, otherwise don't expect to get very far. ; )



Overall, this store is the epitome of magic stores. If ever store had half the energy, charisma, mystery, charm, and extravagance that Jest For Fun has, I would be out shopping EVERY SINGLE DAY!

A great place to have fun, learn new skills and just hang out with fellow performers. A complete line of jokes, magic props, wigs and theatrical make-up. You can never tell who is going to stop in the store. A great family friendly place!

An outstanding selection, competitive prices, and unbeatable customer service has made me a loyal customer for the past 16 years. I recommend the Joke Shop to everyone I can, there's a reason I make a 1 1/2 hr commute to shop here!
