Our standard poodle has been clipped and groomed here for years. The owner is fantastic, extremely talented and very caring.
People literally stop us on the street to ask us where he gets groomed! Also, he is never nervous to go in there or anxious coming out.
The salon is on the smaller side, but the everyone who works there are so loving to all the dogs.
If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. This is the best grooming salon I have found in 15 years!

I was recommended to these people. I called and gave them the breed and weight of my dog so that they could quote me for a haircut and bath. The quote was $75-$80 but when I picked up my dog it changed to $100. The place is tiny, dirty, and cramped. The person who I dealt with didn't even care about my concerns let alone address them. I will never take my dogs back there again!

After Rick's place on Ventura Blvd closed down I went looking for a groomer. I thought I found one here. A month ago I took my Border Collie and Border/Sheltie mix in for a bath. Fran did a wonderful job so I took them back today for another bath. Fran was not there.

When I picked them up, I discovered they had not only been bathed but their legs have been shaved. Every trace of the characteristic feathering of the Collies was GONE. Who the hell told them to shave the legs of my dogs? How is that giving them a bath? They went in for a bath and came home with the Breed Standard for Collies cut off. The sign says "All Breeds" but it is obvious they know nothing of collies.

Not only did they destroy the leg feathering but they cut my dog's tail; not the hair, the flesh. Why were they even trimming the tail? (see photo with blood showing)

And the cowardly butchers didn't even have the personal integrity to tell me they had cut my dog and she was bleeding when I picked her up.

Notice the Feathering is not cut.

"I want to stress most of all: The goal for the head trim and body sculpt is to make the dog look as natural as possible, as if he were not even touched by a pair of scissors. Create a well-balanced body while keeping as close to the breed standard as possible."

This did not happen, instead I got charged $100 to have my dogs' coats butchered and my dogs injured and bloodied

It takes years for the Feathering to grow back and as my dogs are 12 and 14, it may never grow back in their lifetime.

STAY THE HELL AWAY.
