Huh, just like one has their preferred Dr. or Dentist. I have Mike, the owner of Johann's Independent as my chosen mechanic. I met Mike over 10 years ago and he's been my mechanic since then. Without their honesty and fairness I can honestly say there is no way I could afford to drive a Benz, let alone top Benz's. Mike has truly kept me in the game and if you see me in person, I will tell you the same. . . In fact, my boss, colleagues, family and friends know about Johann's and I always have a few of his cards on deck as I believe that's the least I can do for him after all he and his team of mechanics, have done for me. I highly recommend dealing with Mike at Johann's. I took an 1983 Mercedes 240D to have them do a pre-sale inspection on a car that I was considering purchasing. Mike was nothing but helpful in not only inspecting the car inside and out for potentiel problems. He then took time to help me create a list and explained to me all of the potential costs I could be facing as well as noting the things that I would want to fix right away. It was obvious to me that Mike truly cared about what was in my best interests and even helped me in determining an amout to negotiate with the seller. In the end, I negotiated the price of the vehicle down and plan to use Mike again for his services in the future.
